Not really. You could start the movie in the middle of the invasion. They sent the horde through the portal in waves originally. You could just have the main characters of the orcs, Durotan and Doomhammer, join the fray in one of the later waves. Then you proceed to have all the important events happen, such as the killing of Medivh, Doomhammer backstabbing Blackhand and the destruction of Stormwind. Easily done in one movie.

This is why Medivh does not remember originally opening the Dark Portal. He was possessed at that time.

I played Wrath of The Lich King for a month. Beyond that my knowledge of WoW is nonexistent. I really liked it, it had some flaws but it felt like a big, rich world. The acting isn't top notch but nothing to cringe about (well perhaps the orc chick sometimes but eh)

She would also be considered a hero in the eyes of her people, as opposed to the other orc who would gain more influence with his people. Saw it without knowing anything about Warcraft at all. Like, at all. I knew the words "Alliance," and "Horde," and that they fight each other. That's it.
This was without a doubt one of the worst films I've ever seen. A completely unengaging experience that left me alone, confused, and ulitmately, uncaring about anyone there (except Duratan, dude was awesome) or what happened in that world. It's honestly pushed me away quite a bit. If it's aesthetic and plot are anything to go by, the world's uninteresting as shit, and I'm glad I never really god into it.

I hated how they would show these big images of the cities and places, but the sets were just small portions and never really advanced anywhere.
Went from outside of Ironforge to the inside any only seeing the Great Forge. Stormwind city to the keep. Goldshire to the inside of a garrison.
Not even Dreanor looked that fleshed out. A lot of these great historical places in the game just got one set and a big cgi overshot.
I wanted to see dwarves all over Ironforge, the citizens walking around Stormwind. Even Dalaran didn't get fleshed out and it's a city of wizards.
If you didn't like this movie, you should purge your entire family and then kill yourself so your retard genes won't plague humanity any longer. You're probably the type of retard who liked Deadpool.

Just finished watching it. As a movie this was pretty fucking bad. The pacing was all over the place, the whole character of Medivh would be a clusterfuck if you didn't know the lore, and some of the choices they made regarding motivations were retarded.

When he needed a translator at first, I was like wait a fucking second... 2 scenes ago he was speaking to Garona and we could understand it. Then I realized what they were doing when you start to hear Durotan speak English and hear Garona translating in the background. That was done so well. Fuck, I loved this movie and I can't wait to see it again, especially the director's cut.

I didn't like the abrupt end, because of the plan for sequels, but it was enjoyable. I've only ever played the original Warcraft games on pc when I was a kid, and not often. Did not like the final Blackhand fight, that was such a waste. And the wizards were corny as hell, but I feel Ben Foster was the best choice they could make to have it be as tolerable as possible.
