WCII was pretty garbage. The 2nd and 3rd film should be Thrall and Arthas. It splits up the orcs and humans from the first film and shows how each ended up.
Thrall leads a slave revolt and settles his people in Kalimdor and fights Mel Gibson as Admiral Proudmoore. Jaina is only a minor character who helps Thrall and the Night Elves + Archimonde is cut or possibly pushed off for a future movie.
3rd film is Frozen Throne. Arthas' WCIII story is used pretty much exactly though they could cut Kelthuzad and have Frostmourne whispering to him to tell him what to do. He kills Charles Dance's Terenis and then battles Sean Bean's Uther and ultimately defeats him. After a time skip, Uther's second in command, Tirion Fordring played by Viggo Mortenson, leads a combined group of Horde and Alliance to fight Arthas at the Frozen Throne. Ghost Charles Dance says "No king can rule forever, my son."
Not sure who I would cast as Thrall and Arthas. I love NCW as older Arthas but he seems too old to play the younger Arthas at Stratholme.
