270 MILLION PRODUCTION BUDGET INCLUDING MARKETING.
THERE'S NO WAY WARCRAFT IS MAKING 500 MILLION AND THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL IT'S GETTING A SEQUEL.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAI hope this gets Blizzard to make Warcraft 4 instead of wasting their money on stupid movies

>Blizzard is renowned for their amazing cutscenes
>time comes to finally make a movie
>lebds meg it with libe ackshun :DDDDD
I just got back from seeing the movie. After seeing the movie insulted so long here, and seeing all the terrible reviews it was getting from journalists I went in with low expectations. You know what, it's actually pretty damn good. It's not the Lord of the Rings..but I certainly enjoyed it more than any of the Hobbit movies (I know, almost a left handed compliment).
Actually, they were just about as faithful to the lore and feel of the games as they could be considering the format. Some things don't have the right timelines but I thought they did a good job linking things together.
The reviews were right about one thing; the Orc segments are FAR more entertaining than the human ones. It's not that the human ones are bad per se, they just aren't very exciting and are more about exposition. But the Orc CGI is absolutely fantastic, normally CGI feels almost flimsy and cheap but honestly it feels more genuine than the live action parts.
You can see the divide on the Rotten Tomatoes professional VS user reviews. I felt reading the reviews that most of them just had contempt for the movie, which it absolutely doesn't deserve. I might say "this isn't a movie for everyone, but if you've ever played any game in the Franchise and liked it you'll probably like this movie" would have been fair.
>>70695270
Current estimate is 25-30mil
>>70695061
they always have, blizzard is amazing at cinematics, which is why i question why they didnt just make a movie with the same feel.
i mean i know it wasnt blizzard who made it but they should of stuck with what they are good at.
I just watched it, it was actually pretty good. Not great, but good. Not sure why the critics loathed it.
And to OP: The theater was filled to capacity when I went.
>>70695270
It had a midweek opening, probably not that weird, just came back from one of the less popular theaters in town, movie started at 7:30 so probably not the most popular slot either. Theater was about 3/4ths full
>>70694915
It used to. Then Cataclysm happened.
>>70695309
Critics typically dislike movies that pander to a certain genre like video games. Show me a good video game movie (I know thats hard) that got good reviews
Now I know why it made so much money in Asia
it takes months for blizzard to make a 5 min long cinematic
for a 2 hours movie it'll be 10 years in the making to achieve the same quality given their rate
>>70695349
Nah, Warcraft's story went to fuck halfway through WotLK when they started introducing the half-titan guys like Loken
>>70695217
>168 million on opening day
>bad
Just saw the movie today. It was pretty good. Really hoping to see a sequel.
>>70695306
the Orc sequences from the movie really do feel like high quality cinematics. In fact considering alot of the same characters are there, the Orc half of the movie REALLY felt like it could have come right from Warlords of Draenor. Actually...an Orc only movie would probably have been far more entertaining. The human side is basically there for people who have never played the games and would be totally lost without SOME explanation for everything.
Although I did find it odd that the King and Queen were out having beers at the Goldshire Inn miles from Stormwind's gates for some random reason. I realize they wanted fanservice but it did feel kind of forced
>>70695428
CLick the foreign tab faggot. Half that revenue was generated the weekend of 5/25, 2 weeks ago
>>70695278
Their cutscenes are cute little setpieces that can be cliche and badly written as long as they serve their purpose of moving the story along or as flashy advertising for the game.
movie fucking sucked
>>70695375
Now that you mention it, this is likely the best movie adapted from a video game made so far.
Which says less about how good it is than about how shitty the others are, mind you.
>"muh Fel Magic" instead of blood
>no Nerzhul
>Ogrim not taking over the Horde

Also when the fuck are they gonna make shorts for based Junkrat/Roadhog
That's like begging to be a Mad Max-style buddy comedy.
>>70695578
I want a short for Reinhardt.
>>70695287
I felt like there was a good movie there that got fucked over somewhere between the exec desk and the editing room. The final dual battle scene was giving me Star Wars shivers, and I kept thinking, "I like these characters and I like what they're doing now and they just needed to have made me feel this way earlier."
I would have preferred the movie be a lot longer; the editing was choppy, and while I was never really confused as to what was going g on, I still feel like the ma, the breathing and feeling and getting-situated moments, were cut for snappiness - which is funny because, if true, it ruined the pacing, especially at the beginning.
>>70695309
I felt the same way about Doom, it wasn't the greatest movie ever but I felt like the acting wasn't terrible, it was fairly faithful to the feel of it's source material and genuinely seemed to be having fun with what it was;
>>70695530
silent hill and doom were objectively good
>>70695445
>The human side is basically there for people who have never played the games and would be totally lost without SOME explanation for everything.
The young mage was the most interesting character in the movie.
>>70695646
I enjoyed Doom when I turned my brain off to the fact that it was supposed to BE Doom. Same thing with the Spirits Within and the Super Mario movie
>0 mention of Hellscream, first orc to drink the fel blood
I liked it but it irks me that they left this out. It's sorta like how they left out Roran's girlfriend in that somehow worse than the source material Eragon movie. Dude is a major figure in Warcraft 3 and his son is the main antagonist of 2 WoW expacks. I guess they can just introduce him in 2 or 3, maybe through a flashback sequence to when the orcs first drank the fel blood. (could make for an alright opening sequence)
>>70695646
>>70695707
The monsters in Doom being genetic experiments gone wrong was lame. It tickled my autism something fierce.
>>70695287
I more or less ageree with you. This is a movie for the fans, the normies wont get into it that much. Thats good for Blizzard and his plans for sequels, but Im betting they want the normies in.
>>70695530
Resident Evil movies were good. And there are tons of movies that aren't based on a specific game property that basically stole one's premise, a la Chronicle/Akira.
>>70695498
Demonic magic represented by neon green has been the staple ever since at least Burning Crusade. I think they called it Blood magic back in Warcraft 2 though.
I was waiting for Ner'zhul though, i'm hoping if a sequel is made they'll learn their lesson and focus it on spooky scary Draenor and Burning legion shit.
I really wished they had spent more time on the corruption of Medivh and the horde and less on Lothar's and Llanes quibbles
>>70695737
Like I said, once you turn your brain off to the fact that its titled Doom, its a fun generic scifi

>>70695863
>burger market is gonna ge into it.
Nah, they're all about muh realism what with Game of Thrones.
>>70695397
This was honestly the thing that annoyed me most in the movie. A fucking gook? Seriously wtf
>>70695737
True, i'm not sure why they didn't hand wave that the ancient Martian race they stumbled across had built some sort of gateway to allow them to cross vast distances in the universe only to get invaded from a Hell like alien dimension, leading to their extinction only for humans to arrive millions of years later and open it back up. Easy story change, wouldn't require much extra, the monster possiblities are better because they can be lovecraftian horrors
I just watched this movie and two things stuck out for me personally.
The first was the opening scene with the human and orc doing battle with the narrator giving the one line all fans know best. Gave me Warcraft 3 vibes and pulled me right in. 10/10 opening scene.
The second scene was the birds eye view pan across the several different battlefields as combat was happening in each one. That gave a very nice feel of the RTS origins of Warcraft. 11/10
The rest of the movie was actually really meh. A few scenes with the female half orc made me yawn
>>70695933
Gotta throw a bone to those chink gold farmers working less than $10 a day.
>>70695397

>>70695694
I enjoyed Durotan and Medivh the most DESU. Although if anyone else watches the show Preacher, anyone else notice the actors who played King Llane and the Queen are also the two main characters from Preacher as well? Are they like married in real life as well?
>>70695981
They aren't?
>>70695217
>168 million foreign

Funny, thing that annoyed me most is that the black guy survived until the very last moment they could have killed him, and then they did. That wasn't enough for your /pol/ jollies, you gotta complain about the smartest race having individuals that look like Asians? I mean, that's asinine on multiple levels.
>>70695755
I honestly was shocked a major studio release kept as much from the games as it did. Gul'Dan especially feels completely contiguous between the Warcraft movie and the ingame cinematics from WoD
>>70696039
They're night elves who fucked off because they still wanted to play with Arcane magic.Night elves are dark trolls exposed to titan blood
>>70696039
No ya dingus, they're high elves. Night elves didn't show up until much later.
>>70695287
The director's original idea was to make a movie about humans and another about orcs. It's strange to see a director actually not shiting on the game his movie is based in.
After seeing some pictures of the movie here I expected it to look like WoW-tier shit, But armors and all actually looked good. It felt like one of those neat cinematic movies from the games, trying to keep the characters faithful to the game models and mechanics. Not a masterpiece, but you could feel love was put into it.
The opening scene was perfect and the only really glaring error is when Garona is talking to the king at the portal and everyone around them is fighting in slow motion but they're talking normal.
7/10 can't wait for the Lich King
>>70696039
>he thought they were night elves
Just saw it. I actually really liked it. Please tell me a sequel is on the way /tv/
>>70696080
It will win no awards, but it was just fun

Saw the movie today. It was fun, the best adaptation that fans could hope for, and wholly enjoyable.
It's possible you sorry lot can't enjoy anything anymore. What a pity.
>>70695863
I really hope so, I'd absolutely love to a movie version of Beyond the dark portal showing first Stormwind being destroyed, a retreat to Lordaeron, followed by a human army going through the Dark Portal. The climatic finale would be Ner'zhul opening the gateways into the Twisting Nether leading to Draenor being ripped apart. Depending on the movie length the B plot can be Thrall coming of age and finding the exiled Frostwolves
>>70696085You're past redemption!
Can we really talk about why there is going to be a fucking Deepwater Horizon movie
What the flying fuck
does anyone know why the shoulder pads are so ridiculously huge on fantasy armor? it just looks retarded
The only thing i didnt like was how they glossed over character stories and changed details. Llane, medivh and lothar have been friends for their whole lives and medivh went into a coma for 30 years, not acted funny for 6. Thats when sargeras got to him. Also khadgar was supposed to age rapidly from medivhs magical assault.

Humans don't even know Night Elves exist since there on the continent of Kalimdor which is in the west(humans are on the eastern one), and don't make an appearance until Warcraft 3. The elves from the Eastern Kingdoms are high/blood elves who use arcane magic to the point of becoming dependent on it, while the elves from Kalimdor are the night elves, who after Azeroth's first run in with the demons or "fel" decided to fuck off to the woods to become druids and shit
>>70695722
Grom doesn't drink the demon blood until the Second War.
In fact, he doesn't step on Azeroth until then.
He drank the blood when he was 17 years old or something like that, so in this movie he should be a fucking infant.
>>70696273
>Oh and bring me [Blackhand's Severed Arm] too.
>>70695637
More or less. One thing I liked in the movie is that they didn't do the "fantasy duel", AKA they hit each others' swords for 5 minutes. A real duel would pretty much go that way, AKA they charge each other and one guts the other.
>>70695722
He was in the flick. Kargath too. I was impressed by that even if they didn't have any lines.

I was actually pissed off that the theater was almost full becauseI'd been counting on it being empty enough to not get caught when I inevitably lost the battle against my urge to jerk off to the orcs. Drew blood biting my lip whenever Durotan's meaty fucking back came on screen.
>>70696234>TFW I was expecting Durotan to survive the fight.
>"Oh, well, h-he sacrificed himself, b-but now the horde won't serve Gul'Dan and..."
>MFW the horde falls back in line and his sacrifice was almost useless.
I expected this to be as cliché asLothar's son dyingbut they did it pretty well.
Also I like all those situations where it looks like the main characters are fuckedand they're fucked indeed.
>>70696136
If it makes them a few hundred million in profit they probably will, it's well on its way. Honestly they have a goldmine of good stories. Just translate the story arcs of Warcraft 3, burning Crusade, and the Lich King. easily 3 good movies right there alone.
>>70696326
It was either her or the First Guardian of Tirisfal
>>70695707

It would've been betterif the orcs charged the portal to Stormwind and sacked the city.
>>70695680

>>70696353
It'd be pretty based if it was her 2bh.
It's things like that which make Warcraft a fun movie in my opinion. If you're a fan of the franchise then there's a lot of stuff to keep you entertained.
It just all felt a bit rushed though.
>>70696281
nigga, he was literally the very first orc to be >corrupted by Gul´dan. he was there from the start
>>70696383
Don't worryassuming they follow the games the orcs sack Stormwind in the second one
Lothar was the weakest part of the movie. I groaned whenever he and his dumb kid had a scene together and he and Garona had no chemistry and no real build-up. I think his actor might have been plastered the entire time, too.
>>70696213
I'm honestly curious as to how it'll do. If it's a success, what will it mean for the industry? I mean, first we have Deadpool being a raging success, now we'd have Warcraft...
Maybe it would encourage execs to be less hesitant to greenlight unusual stuff? Maybe we'll finally get that R-rated "At the Mountains of Madness" by Guillermo del Toro?
Hell, if Warcraft succeeding led to that, I'd tell everyone to fucking go see it.
>>70696281
Except in the lore it says he was the first to drink the demon blood

>what you think I have ANOTHER plan?
Khadgar was the best character in the film good development overall

>>70696335
>>70696383
>>70696434
Due to marketing and entertain status quota they probably wanted to end most of the movies on good endings. The second movie's opening scene will probably be the sacking of Stormwind, and retreat to Lordaeron. This way both movies get happy endings, and they still tell the story.
>>70696345
That might be why critics hated it. Gul'dan is a giant asshole and he gets away with it.
>>70696476
In the movie, not the games, why is Khadgar the next Guardian? They all treat him fair there is no evidence that he is special, just simple that he is a mage that run away.
>>70696154
Jesus fucking Christ don't put LotR in the same picture as the prequels, pepsi, Martin and Warcraft. I'm genuinely made right now.

>>70696465
He always looked like he was on the verge of tears. His eyes were always watery
>>70696511
To be fair, that's pretty much how the story went. King Llane dies, Doomhammer executed Blackhand and the Shadow Council minus Gul'dan, Lothar took over as Regent of Stormwind and THEN Stormwind was sacked. A few details are lost in adaptation, but it looks like if there's a sequel, that's how it'll go.

>>70696551
Blizzard stated that their "break even" margin was 500 million. So look for that number.
I'm curious as to what was in the final footage.
The movie was garbage, no better than capeshit.
I want to know whether that is because of too much corporate meddling or because Bowie junior is a hack.
>>70696538
Of course he gets away with it. He has literately all the power! He drinks souls like a finely-aged wine for fucks sake! Not to mention he's buff as all holy hell. That's the kinda guy who gets exactly what he wants. Forever.
That's the point of his character.
>>70696608
That means they spent at least 60mil in marketing.

Only problem I had was Garona should've been mind controlled and forced into assassinating the king against her will by Gul'Dan. Would've given her some better motivation and made Gul'Dan into a more serious threat for the sequel instead of a whiny bitch he ended up as.
But he is a whiny bitch originally and submits to doomhammer so whatever.
>>70696720
This.
It was pretty obvious that Durotan was gonna lose, even if you already knew that lorewise.

From a guy who doesn't know Warcraft lore, the way I saw it was that he was trying to get back to Garona's mother and that the fel magic he had to mess around with to have that happen corrupted him and set him up with a fel user who would increase its influence on the multiversethingy.
>>70696916
If i remember correctly, the kirin tor recruit and train candidates for the next guardian then send them to medivh. His mother was guardian, got pregnant and told everyone to fuck off and when medivh was older she gave all her power to him, which is what sargeras wanted since he had tainted her womb or something and medivh was his backdoor into azeroth

A chink, a nigger, and a child molesting foot fetishist on a couch. Sounds fucking great, anon.
>>70695397
WoW elves co-opt plenty of asian culture/imagery but god forbid they cast a couple fucking asians to play them instead of the typical white bread fuckos

It made $125 million in 3 days in China. That'll double over the next week or so. Plus Europe and America will put it at $500 at the very least.

Gotta hand it to Blizz, that's a pretty ballsy thing to put in your movie.
>>70696691
I actually enjoyed WoD, I thought the storylines were interested, the Arakkoa especially was a tragic and very symmetrical story from when we encountered them 8 years ago in Burning Crusade. Actually if anything my biggest complaint is there needed to be more fun things to do. Archaelogy, fishing, and enchanting were totally ignored this season as well as an interesting crafting system. I didn't hate on the Garrisons but I can't say i'm sorry to see them gone as of Legion.
I went and saw it in ultraAVX for whatever and the seats were SHAKING whenever orcs started blowing plebs the fuck out.
I'm glad I saw it in theatres, it really made the fight scenes great.
>>70696615
It's funny I cared more about him than any other character. This movie was fucked when it comes to casting and shit.
>>70696161
He would make a good prince arthus
>>70697238
What.
I need to see it this way. Holy shit.
>>70695933
>Seriously wtf
redditor detected, stop fucking trying so hard to fit in
At least we can all agree that the three best parts of the movie were:
>Khadgar
>Gul'dan
>Paula Patton's delicious green thighs
>>70697235
I wouldn't really call the Arakkoa storyline tragic. Hell when you think about it they are the only race that we helped by going through the portal. Terrok doesn't go crazy after the player becomes his champion, their race doesn't begin to worship the old gods, and SKWACK PRETTY TRINKETS never really comes to power. Good end.
>>70697281
It was pretty great, especially when Doomhammer would absolutely ANNIHILATE someone
>>70697335
I really loved the intro.
>>70697235
I think most people agree most of the content we got was good (minus the facebook garrisons and how leveling was super linear on alts) it's just there was nowhere near enough.
>>70694523
actually thinks Blizz spent any of their money or had anything to do with it kek
>>70697496
Garrisons are what ruined it. Not only were they tedious and boring, but they took development time away from other things.
>>70697281
Yeah, the fight scenes get fucking brutal. It's awesome.
>>70697246
Gul'dan is without a doubt the most interesting character in the lot.
>>70696163
cause Hollywood wants to show oil is bad even though they are the ones who constantly fly around in private jets and use limos

It bothered me that Gul'dan would even care what some Draenei degenerate was babbling about. Fucked up characterization in the first five minutes.
>>70697335

>Durotan
>Doomhammah
>>70697604
>"I'd expected another lord of the rings, but this one was too childish and colorful! Ha ha!"
I literally can't understand people who say this. Warcraft kinda felt like one of those 80 fantasy movies that scared the shit out of you as a kid.
>Star Wars Episode VI-tier ending.
>King fucking dies
>Orcs, includingDurotangetting CGI-annihilated in ways that would make you puke IRL.
>Humans getting wrecked left and right, all of them gruesome deaths.
>Gul'Dan fucking throwing some cage full of human prisoners because he was pissed.
>Their screams as they fall to their death.
Knowing only of the MMO, the motivation of the Guardian just seemed confusing. Why didn't they go and kill the big orc guy instead of dealing with Lich Guardian guy?
Why did he treat the novice dude like some supreme threat?
>>70696154
>84 Dune movie
It was absolutely shit
What a shitty image overall aswell
>>70697834
>Why did he treat the novice dude like some supreme threat?
Big orc guy was protected by an army AND fel magic.
Medivh was only protected by his powers.
>>70696154
Who made this trash?
>tfw it was actually worth seeing in IMAX
I was genuinely surprised considering the trailers did not sell me on the effects, only shit ones were some blatant green screening and some of the background orc animations were sub-par. Otherwise it was great, they actually built a lot the sets which really surprised me, someone making a good use out of physical assets in such a CGI reliant movie.
>>70697936
I think the only up close effect that was bad was when Medivh turned green, literally looked like someone slapped a green filter on and called it a day.
Other effects were amazing though. The inn having the exact same layout as the inns from WoW made me completely erect.
>>70696163
Hollywood absolutely Has to make 3 or 4 oscarbate "message" movies a year. We all know the drill, it's a moralizing preachy movie with a few big names, it gets praised to thr heavens by the press, nobody watches it, a few of thr people involved win a few awards. Rinse, repeat
P. S. Captcha why the fuck do you need me to keep identifying store fronts for you?
>overwatch bots on /v/
>warcraft bots on /tv/
>an endless stream of people repeating the same taglines over and over
kill yourself blizzdrones, they're both shit.
>>70696154
Is Neo /tv/ really this delusional?
>>70697981
>The inn having the exact same layout as the inns from WoW made me completely erect.
Ditto, Goldshire was fucking perfect on all levels, though I'm still wondering why was the king there in the first place? Was it so they could meet outside the city or does he just like chilling in comfy town?
>>70696175
Blame Warhammer.
They really pushed the envelope for PG-13 violence. Durotan's death and the guy getting tortured by Gul'dan sticking out the most

I almost jumped out of my seat when I saw Kargath walk through the portal. They showed Grom a couple times before but I was not expecting to see him.
There were a lot of moments like that for me. The fanservice and nods to the game had me in awe the whole time. As a Warcraft fanboy who has spent years of my life in the franchise it was a dream come true to see it all on the big screen.
>>70697823
>one of the orcs crushing a soldier's head with his hand
>>70698144
I will admit, this triggers me pretty hard. Didn't noticed it when I was watching but now that it's in plain sight that's pretty awful. Come on, blizz first movie or not, you double check interractions between live action and CG or else THIS shit happens.

also, there was a lot of black people in the funeral crowdKul Tiras representatives?
Also, I was fucking surprised how many times you see Grom in the movie, you even see Gorehowl a couple times, and yet, he NEVER talks. That fucking orc was everywhere, but never talked.
Also, i assume thatthe old frostwolf in the sacking was Drek'Thar

>>70698403
He had a whole conversation with Durotan and Orgrim back on Draenor. But it got cut.
How hard is acting where you're so bad at it that cartoon characters in the same movie are better at it than you? I'm specifically talking to Travis Fimmel, but I'm also talking to everyone in this fucking movie.
>>70694555
they will completely ignore WoW and make a warcraft 4 that continues from warcraft 3
>>70695498
>>Garona dindu nuffin
All the orcs are DINDUS as of Warcraft 3. I really hated that turn. Instead it's the RACISS HOOMANS who are the bad guys.
>>70698144
What's the solider on the right doing
>>70698561
warcraft 4 never. Wow forever. If you think otherwise, you're fucking delusional.
>>70698508
To be fair, the cartoon characters were voiced by voice actors, who are used to there being nothing else in the room with them.
The real actors were lazily directed to play pretend to things that weren't there.
>>70698565
>the RACISS HOOMANS who are the bad guys.
But that's wrong.
>Invade human lands
>Literally steal their ships
>Sail to Kalimdor and chimp out so another war with humans starts right after meeting them.
>Follow them until the heart of the peak.
>Lol we allies now.
>They fucking accept.
>They become the first line of defense during the burning legion's attack.
>Orcs go apeshit again shortly after.
>Muh honor.
>>70698612
>To be fair, the cartoon characters were voiced by voice actors
And then animated, nobody misunderstands this. What are you trying to do by telling me this?
>The real actors were lazily directed to play pretend to things that weren't there.
You know about the many scenes without animated characters in them, right? I'm not getting sucked into an hour long back-and-forth with autism, I'm stopping this now by calling you stupid.
>>70695287
Yeah I watched it last night. I loved it. It could have been better, there were a few weak points. The ending, for instance, was somewhat shoehorned, and there were a couple of cheesy lines. But overall I really enjoyed it.
The contempt of the reviews seems really peculiar to me. Definitely doesn't deserve that.
>>70698569
Waiting for Charge to come off cooldown
>>70694523
Just saw it in imax, ask me anything. it was freaking awesome. they had the elves in it, the dwarves, griphon mounts, and that murky lurkey little amphibian guy lol.
i'm taking my dad to see it on faters day because he played the shit out of WC1 and 2
>>70698590
they will keep wow running for the declining numbers of people who play it and otherwise make it noncanon and make warcraft 4 for the new generation of gamers
>>70698565
I didn't even see the racism to the human's reaction. More of an "oh shit there's an army rampaging through our lands wtf?" than a "fuck the orcs fucking niggers"
>>70698707
Blizzard won't do another RTS, not after SC2.
The genre is dead.
>>70696154

How do kill that which has no life in action.
>>70698707
"warcraft 4" for the "new generation of gamers" would be a clash of clans clone.
or just that fucking shitty heroes of the storm game they put out.

I thought it was more of "she better not be shit talking me." kind of asking.
>>70696154
go back to le reddit
>>70698681
>The contempt of the reviews seems really peculiar to me. Definitely doesn't deserve that.
2 reasons:
movie critics love to perpetuate the "game movies suck" stereotype and some even enjoy hating it because "not muh" mentality
Burgerkins love to hate Warcraft and Blizzard. Im not shilling them, they fuck up very often and I admit it, but wherever you go, people literally enjoy trashing it because "warcraft went to shit since *insert game or expansion*".
>Orc CGI actually looks good
>Everything else looks garbage, especially the part where Medivh turns the magic pool in Karazhan green shit
Bravo
I haven't seen the movie yet, but how does it do at adapting the original story? Is it for the most part pretty accurate?
Can we all at least agree that Durotan's death was one of the more disturbing CGI deaths we've seen?
>>70698894
It wasn't that big of a deal.
>>70698884
They change everything. Canon warcraft ending is the orc one, this movie is basically human ending with some other shit. Important characters getting killed off by characters that didn't kill them, characters that shouldn't even be where they are there for fan service.
>>70698884
For the most part, there's a few tidbits of lore they left out due to the runtime but other than that everything pretty much happens as it should happen.
