Its ridiculous that no one on here has seen this masterpiece
Doing my rewatch now since his passing, absolutely brilliant. Top 5ish series of all time up there w/ Sopranos, Mad Men, Wire, yeah Seinfeld. Incisive/meta, hilarious, Hank, all the celebrity cameos used to great effect, how much of a creep Larry/Garry lets himself be, so much going for it.
Apparently he worked out a deal w/ HBO before his death to stream it in HD soon but I couldnt wait, watching shitty quality rips but I tell myself thats how they aired anyway

>ol dirty bitch
it was ahead of its time. a sitcom with no laugh track? preposterous

Its this low key kind of brilliant too, where it's still unsung, which makes it even better. Garry is like the "other" Jerry Seinfeld. Like even here on this board, anons just see the Jew cheeks and keep scrolling to another Warcraft thread, but what an influential classic this show is.
The DVD's are a good get. One of them has a surprise reunion between Shandling and his ex Linda Doucett who plays Darlene the assistant that was much more emotional than I expected...
