I want to watch a good horror movie that I haven't seen... preferably something recent.
Perhaps you guys have some suggestions?

It Follows
The Babadook
The Witch

I've seen all of these.
I liked It Follows (except for the hair pulling scene)
Didn't like The Babadook.
The Witch was great.

not that old and pretty good for a horror movie
>>
Just watched the witch and it was good af

I loved the atmosphere and the time period, and I typically don't enjoy period pieces

Not a movie but i'll just throw Masters of Horror in there, a TV anthology from a few years ago with each episode directed by a big name in horror. Well worth looking into.

What didn't you like about the hair pulling scene
>>
"A Tale of Two Sisters" (2003) not so recent but still a good watch.

How much recent?

The Tunnel is like 3 years old i think.

First Sinister is pretty good.

Could watch REC 1&2.

The monster should have killed her as soon as it reached her (like it did with everyone else), not pull her hair just so her friends could see it.

I'm also in need

But here are the scariest things I've seen in awhile. 2009 was a great year.

Inside (2007)
The House of the Devil (2009)
The Living and the Dead (2006)
Antichrist (2009)

The Witch, if you jive with the artsy stuff. If you want something more down to earth; give We Are Still Here a crack.

Thats Series was Gold. Jennifer definitely Worth a watch. All of the movies in that Series shared a certain psychological horror

I can't believe people have been saying that the conjuring was good lately.
Are you fucking serious, it was complete and utter trash.
