There really is. Seinfeld is described as the "show about nothing", but there is a lot of momentum to the dialogue and events. Everything is carried through, and the characters are lively.
Sealab/Archer is mostly the characters standing around and insulting each other, mumbling, non-sequiturs, etc. Not to say there isn't a place for that (there are some gold Archer episodes and Sealab is still funny), but it's not the standard of what a fucking Ghostbusters movie should be.
