There's really one country where it was tried. You can't just separate the positive things about national socialism, which were mostly economic and came at a cost, from all the unpleasantness.

Like I said before, it has only been associated with one country, considering the outcome, the phrase 'National Socialism' became tarnished beyond salvation.
It's perfectly fine to discuss the benefits of any political system, I'd just avoid using that name because people will immediately associate it with 1930s Germany.
