Why won't Hollywood consider an actor with down syndrome to play the new James Bond? People with down syndrome are underrepresented in Hollywood and it's time that changes. Casting an actor with down syndrome would be a great way of bringing diversity to the big screen. Where specifically in the books does it say that James Bond doesn't have down syndrome? For all we know Ian Fleming envisioned Bond as having down syndrome from the very start. It's time the voices of people with down syndrome were heard in Hollywood.
