Season 4 in a nutshell: BEHROOZ BEHROOZ BEHROOZ BEHROOZ
I got into 24 a couple of years ago, was enjoyable until I realised that the first 15 episodes or so of any given season were completely useless misdirection, and every time they discover some the main plot in the final third.
I think I got 3 or 4 seasons in and this was the case in all of them, kind of made them unenjoyable after that.
Did they ever switch it up? I've got Prime so get HD streaming of them all.
>>70534316
>6/10
That's harsh, man. First season is magical - just try rewatching it after watching show all the way through, you'll see.
Consider this - 24 was the pioneer of today's TV shows.
It also had kinda low budget and Fox initially ordered only 13 episodes instead of 24. That's why the latter part of the season feels kinda off - they made 13th episode as a possible finale and cut almost all loose ends.
It's a great series that keeps getting better and better for 5 years, loses some quality, but stays decent (and occationaly great) to the end.

I am cautious, but somewhat optimistic about it. Trailer looked okay, if cheap.

Season 5 is considered the highpoint, definitely owe it to yourself to watch that season. It ends on a brutal cliffhangar which will compel you to follow up but I suggest you stop with the 5. And check in on the season where Jack loses it and goes after the Russian president because that was one of the most beautiful 4 - 5 last eps of a season I have ever seen

I actually started with LAD (weird, I know) when it first aired a few years ago, /tv/ was posting a lot about it and I had nothing to watch anyway. In episode 2 he's surrounded by a bunch of gangsters, then drops a boast like "you think I'm at disadvantage here, but I promise you, I'm not" and proceeds to kill them, right then I knew that I'll definitely watch the season. Afterwards I obviously had to watch the previous ones to see his journey.

I was often amazed by how Kiefer constantly knocked it out of the park. Every actor was great - the acting seriously is one of the high points of this show, you really believe in the characters - but Kiefer was so fucking good even at the weakest points and he did it with immense intensity for about a decade, 24 episodes a year, being on screen for the majority of each episode in a very physically demanding role. It's no wonder anything he's ever done (and probably will do) pales in comparison to his work on 24.

I'm thinking about it. It's a big commitment though. 204 episodes and I can't stop once I've started because I'm a sperg.

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you son of a bitch? WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST FUCKING SAY ABOUT ME, YOU SON OF A BITCH? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Delta Force, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Second Wave, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in African gorilla warfare and I’m the top kneecapper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will choke you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, I give you my word. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the secure line? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the USA and your IP is being cross-referenced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my hacksaw. Not only am I extensively trained in asking where the bomb is, but I have access to all sockets of CTU and I will use them to their full extent to wipe your miserable ass off US soil, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will force this towel down your throat, all the way. You’re fucking dead, damnit.
