Now that Warcraft flopped with the critics, what chance does AssCreed have?
i am god
Maybe the 65% future shit will be boring enough that critics like it?

>/v/ actually thinks Warcraft was panned for not being boring enough
This is why no one should respect "gamers"
>director, cinematographer, and actors from Macbeth and several other critically acclaimed works
>writing team behind Exodus and Tower Heist
So, like the AssCreed games before them, it will have pretty set pieces and neat characters, but the plot and story will be utterly fucked.

Tower Heist was a fun flick, though
Not sure how that would fit with an Assassin's Creed movie, but I think Fassbender will be the saving grace. He literally CANNOT do wrong

It's just a weird choice in my opinion. I'd rather have some Ubisoft guys write it instead, even if they wouldn't technically be better.
I actually have no idea who I would have write this movie, now that I think about it. The games' writing has always been the weakest aspect, so something harmless is the best we can hope for I think.

If I were to get a novelist, I'd get Tim Powers to have a go at the script. He basically specializes in doing black history conspiracies and adventure stuff without being a full on Dan Brown level hack.

If video game developers were capable of making good decisions, they wouldn't be video game developers.

I'm just glad we aren't getting another fucking game for a while.
That Unity fiasco probably hurt the brand a lot.

/v/ doesn't think anything about Warcraft.
They laughed at how it was critically panned and that's it.
