Because it follows the Entourage formula. Every ep ends on a cliffhanger where the whole crew is boned, then in the season finale one of the crew makes a bold sacrifice so the whole crew makes out like bandits.

aha, i knew there was something to it. it feels like every "bad" situation they find themselves in, you just know they'll get out of it or else the show is over. they always get bailed out because the alternative isnt a viable direction for the show to take
