Saw this today, pretty fucking good actually, I'd give it a 7.9/10
Despite all the promo pics looking like shit, all of the costumes were actually well done in the movie.
Also, despite looking like shit in some photos, Sophie Turner is not bad as Jean at all. She actually looks pretty attractive at certain angles. Coming to terms with the fact that not every girl is 10/10, she fits well for the role. The outfits they had her wear really complemented her delicious ginger features.
Compared to Civil War, which was more of the disney/marvel formula in try hard mode, this movie was thrilling and engaging throughout. It's good to see a comic book movie feature actual comic book shit instead of trying to be some tv drama realism shit like civil war.

The whole movie seemed to be an exercise in cliches, but it even follows them poorly e.g. we have Scott and Jean "bonding" over being freaks. Scott says something about being the freak of his school, but it's nonsensical and not really established well at all if he's referring to before he got his powers. The opening scene with the school was terrible. If it's referring to his powers, he immediately transferred. Sansa also can't act. Her delivery after explaining what she did to Wolverine, a pointless shoe-horned moment to set up something in the future, was so clipped and casual after such an intense moment. Nah, he's right. Apocalypse was totally unremarkable, Isaac was wasted in this movie. It was a very bland outing. It wasn't good enough to be exciting or fun and it wasn't bad enough to give you any pleasure at ripping it apart, either.

The CGI in this was pretty obvious.
I mean, there was so fucking much of it that it being shoddy aometimes was inevitable but I think that's a solid argument for using practical effects more often and supplementing them with really, really good CGI that costs time and money.
