It's such a shame. They get so caught-up in their great plan, of for example, getting to Infinity War, that they treat every movie as just point in way there.
Nobody can die before the "big end fight" so every villain on the way just comes across as a limb-dicked asshole who is all talk.
I can enjoy the cape-shit movies as they are, but this shortcoming really gets to me.
