After securing a controller to a Kinetic Orbital Strike-thingy intended to cause WWIII by destroying the Russian Capital, a government operative is tasked with rescuing a nuclear physicist from of terrorist group lead by a charismatic terrorist. The physicist is the only known person to have knowledge of disarming the KOS. The operative succeeds with rescuing the physicist and brings him safely to a highly secretive and heavily guarded HQ.
The tweest at the end is that the physicist is actually the terrorist and he arms the KOS locked away in the HQ to destroy D.C instead. WWIII happens and the operative and the terrorist come to blows before they're both killed by government agents after they suspect the operative was in on the plan with the terrorist.
