I couldn't even.
I am okay with the show ending on Season 3 even, it was all good.
They even do a Brendan Fraiser after the fact and don't resolve it in Se3 like you'd expect
>tfw predicted abigail coming back halfway through the season
>tfw throat cut 2 minutes later
FUCK
>>70353605
Such a good show. It has it's low points but those season finales are incredible. It deserved so many awards for its production design.
Was quite pleased with the way S3 ended, it was a nice way to end the whole thing while still leaving it open if it ever got picked back up again.
>>70353605
i literally got bored with this show
>hurrr durrr le this is my design XDD
>omg le chestik[piekjik ripper xdd
>omg le dead body on deer sticks
>omg le it was him afterall!!!!!
>>70353824
Why do you do that?
Did Hannibal died?
what's going on the last scene with Bedelia and her leg?

>>70353605
don't watch season 3. It's awful.
>>70353824
pleb
the killer of the week and all the ways the people were killed was one of the best things about the show
the drug scenes were surprisingly accurate too
definitely a top 5 show
>>70354663
yeah but the thing is it's unrealistic. There arent that fucking weird murders in a decade, let alone in a week.
I wish they showed more of hanibal doing le ebin shit instead of all those other killers who are worse than hanibal
>>70354716
You're a fucking loser
>>70354435

It's a fucking tv show. Hannibal himself is unrealistic.
>>70353824
Stopped watching late season 1. It was ridiculous, completely disappointing, I hate how it took it self way too seriously
>>70354716

>>70354843
>Despite all my knowledge and intrusion I could never entirely predict you Will. I can feed the caterpillar. I can whisper through the chrysalis. But what hatches follows its own nature and it's beyond me
At some point I stopped feeling sorry for Will and his condition and started becoming jealous. Goddamn, that intimacy was beyond simple faggotry
>Hello, Will.
>Hannibal is looming behind Will. Arm coming round as if in an embrace, moving swiftly. Will is still in shock about Abigail when Hannibal warmly welcomes him with open arms.
>You were supposed to leave.
>We couldn't leave without you.
BLOOD SPRAYS up between them, splashing their faces. Abigail SCREAMS as Will's gun drops to the floor and hishands go to his belly. Abigail watches in horror as Will staggers and falls against the wall. His gun out of reach.
Will looks down to see blood SPILLING from a WIDE CUT across his abdomen.
His INNARDS straining at the wound.
>(heartbroken) Time has reversed. The teacup I've shattered has come together. A place has been made once more in the world for Abigail. A place was made for all of us. Together. I wanted to surprise you. And you... wanted to surprise me.
>Will is shaking, trying to remain conscious and out of shock.
>I let you in. I let you know me. I let you see me.
>You wanted to be seen.
>By you. A rare gift I've given you. But you didn't want it.
>Didn't I?
>You would deny me my life.
>Not your life.
>My freedom, then. You'd take that from me. Confine me to a basement cell. Do you believe you could change me the way I've changed you?
>I already have.
Hannibal studies Will a moment, realizing he's right.
>Fate and circumstance has returned us to the moment the teacup shatters. I forgive you, Will. >Hannibal stands next to a terrified Abigail who realizes she's made a bargain with the devil.
>Will you forgive me?
Hannibal is genuinely sad.
>Don't...
And Hannibal CUTS ABIGAIL'S THROAT in a single, sleek motion, right across the scar where her father once did the same. Abigail's face shows shock and horror. And then blood SPRAYS and Abigail crumples to the floor before Will.
>No!
>Abigail clutches at her throat to stop the bleeding, but it pours from between her fingers. Will is horrified.
>You can make it all go away. Put your head back. Close your eyes. Wade into the quiet of the stream.
>>70354923
no hes not
i mean its unrealistic to have so many killers
having a few is nice but its literally instead of 1 hannibal its like a new hannibal every week
thats what annoys me
they should focous more on hanibal himself

cry moar, im making a point

too bad you can't just downvote every opinion you don't like into oblivion huh?
>>70354965
Right?
Its not even the manipulative abuse that phased me, but the thought of having someone who understood and accepted all the terrible parts of a person, and liked them anyway.
Who wouldnt want that? ;__;

>>70355046
>this is what /tv/ is like now
>I wanted to surprise you
Is this the most heartbreaking scene on television ever?
>>70354983
It was network television, of course it would have to have procedural elements but to their credit they made the cases as batshit insane as they could. And then you go around with the "realism" meme. There was always a fantasy element to the show.
The only point you're making is that you didn't like it. Even with all the other killers Hannibal got more than enough attention on the show. You're entitled to your shitty opinion but stop insisting on yourself. I'm fairly certain you posted the most in this thread out of everyone
>>70354983

>>70354958
>why didnt it have more quips and action

>>70355096
it feels to me they are just using the name hannibal to air their shit show
they should show more hannibal less random killers
>>70354971
Is the script floating around somewhere? I want all the cool little notes in between dialogue.
Its fun to compare and see what the actors did with it.
>tfw will never have S1 and S2 quality Hannibal threads again
It was quite sad to see the enthusiasm almost immediately die out with S3.
>>70355215
Season three was pretty awful =\
>>70355215
We could have a thread, anon. A Hannibal thread, a round thread.
Yours and mine.
>>70355228
I like the way Francis died.
Beat the hell outta the film and the novel.
>>70353789
I think that was everyone's reaction. It was very strongly hinted at that she would return, but I don't think anyone saw it coming when she gets fucking murdered for real this time almost immediately.
It's a shame Fuller didn't do more of that, because it often felt like he lacked the balls to do something drastic with the characters.
>>70355135
>he's still responding
>>70355067
Hannibal and Will being kidnapped by Mason Verger is one of my favourite bits of season 3 just to see them handling their fates of being eaten so calmly and even bantering with him
>That smile Hannibal gave Will when Will tore off a small chunk of Mason's assistant's cheek as he bent down
Still baffled over how they got away with showing Mason's basically being deepthroated by that eel thing in plain sight, fucking lol
>>70355215
>>70355228
Worst thing is that it had great potential, and even does have some god tier scenes - but almost everything else feels extremely tired. Like many of the Dolarhyde scenes were great, but that was taken away by overly pretentious bs (even compared to S1/2) and just plot lines that didn't go anywhere.
>>70355364
They even mentioned the prostrate cattleprod!
I wanted more of Cordell, in general. In the movie he pushes Mason into the pig pen; it just felt like he had a little less agency here.
His asides to Hannibal were a blast though.
>Dont worry Hannibal, you will always be cooked to perfection!
It would've gone down as one of the most mindblowing series finales if they had just ended it there, which they probably should have.
>>70355340
>dr katz
>what they did to based chilton
>"because it often felt like he lacked the balls"
trying to be polite here, i really am. even bloom was smashed through a window so hard she became a homosexual. how can you seriously make that point and not just admit you wanted more and more escalation?
>>70355076
Oh fuck, how did I miss this lol
I wonder what type of earthenware Hannibal uses.
Do you think he likes Hell's Kitchen?
Fuller wanted to make Clarice Starling brown, right?
How would Black Clarice have worked?
>>70355168
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=mizumono+script
>>70355522
I'm exaggerating obviously, but I really think it would've been for the better if they had killed off Alana in S2 and Lounds in S3. I think Fuller grew too fond of his actors, in that even the ones that die, come around for copious amounts of flashbacks. Like did we really need Gideon flashback scenes that were better left to the imagination?

I feel like S3 would have been a lot better if they had killed everyone except Will.
Is S3 better on rewatch? I feel like the problem with it was that it was weekly but even slower than the earlier seasons so it felt a little gratuitous when it came to most things.
>>70354971
This god tier show was cancelled while goy of thrones and walking dead continue to air.

>>70356364
Well assuming on a rewatch you'd be marathoning it, it'd probably just feel even more gratuitous.
The asian sniper wasn't as bad as I remember her. And the Red Dragon stuff welcomes another viewing. I did enjoy the season more on a 2nd watch and the ending hit me harder on the repeated marathon but my complaints about it weren't the same as yours and I'm not sure you would.
>>70356377
she only gets hotter as she ages
is it voodoo?
>>70356544
True but when you watch something like this as multiple eps at once you'll still have the lengthy visuals but the plot will be moving in larger segments at once, whereas weekly it felt like the visuals were just taking too much time out of the characters/story so that you couldn't really properly appreciate the whole picture, if you know what I mean.

alright alright don't be gay about it
Guys Abigail is in Wayward Pines season 2, in case you're missing her as much as me. She was also in the first season of The Magicians, although I'm not sure she'll be in the second
>>70359800
Ehh how is Wayward Pines? My only motivation to watch it is Carla Gugino, she's amazing. But Shamalamadingding's mark on it is pretty off-putting.
What's Abigail's role like? I miss her bad too, only Hannibal alum I've seen in a new role is Will's actor in The Path
>>70360845
>Ehh how is Wayward Pines?
Its your standard late 2000s-today network TV sci-fi offering. Think FlashForward, The Event, Alctraz, that one show about the cop that traveled between alternate universes after a car crash, etc. Basically everything that wasn'tL O S T
>What's Abigail's role like
She's part of the group running everything in season 2. I like her better than I did in The Magicians
>>70355518
