serious question, why is this movie banned like the god damn plague everywhere? i remember seeing it on tv when i was a kid. few years ago thought i would rewatch it, looked for lolita on the internet, at video stores etc and that shit is practically scrubbed from existence.

I've been watching movies for decades and i have never seen such an effort to erase a movie like it never happened before, the shit is bizzarre, especially considering for years no one seemed to care. like i said i watched that shit on tv as a kid, pretty sure it was on one of the main channels on american tv.
