What did /tv/ think about this movie?
Better or worse than the first one?
>>70296164
Worse. The first one was a good, fun, fantasy-portrayal of English football violence.
The second one was a sequel in title only.
>>70296164
>they made a fucking sequel
The unbridled, cosmic madmen.
>>70296325
>a fucking sequel
Try 2
>>70296361
Not him but how was that movie? Like, compared to the first one?
Is this a soccer-violence-kino thread?
What'd you guys think about this one?

I've only seen 1 and 2.
1 is an actual movie, you can tell it had a budget behind it, some decent actors, and it was meant to be shown in theaters.
2 is basically one of the worst straight to dvd films I've ever seen. The ending is retarded.

Yeah I pretty much agree with you. Like you said, 1 actually felt like someone wanted to make something really cool and managed to pitch it well enough to actually make some money.I was also really surprised at how well pretty-boy-manlet Elijah Wood fit into that movie.
2 just felt like the sequel no one asked for.
As for the 3rd one, Scott Adkins (while a great fighter) can't act his way out of a bag, and the fact that he's so prominently featured doesn't bode well.

No fucking way.

Haven't seen that but I love me some football factory. Is Guvnors worth watching?
>yfw the same company who produced Green street 1 and 2 produced this
>>70296844
It's not bad. It has the stupidest twist-ending on the fucking planet, and you'll probably hate it raw if you're anything like me.
That being said, everything up TO the ending is pretty damn good.
Characterization is solid, and it does a good job of portraying what these people do when they're not smacking each other in the head with bricks.
Beyond the stupid twist, there really isn't much actual football in it, so if you're expecting a bunch of namedrops for clubs you like it's probably the wrong movie for you.
It's a good 7/10 and it's hard to find better in the football-violence genre.

>football factory
I've actually not seen this one. How is it?
>>70297003
It's pretty good for a low budget-ish type movie. Funny and entertaining. Really good soundtrack and (I'm assuming a bit here) it's probably the best portrayal of life as a football hooligan.

There's nothing wrong with Green Street 1. Charlie Hunnam carries the movie in a big way, but Elijah Wood is surprisingly good. Rafe Spall is genuinely funny in it, Geoff Bell is a fucking menacing lunatic, and the dude who plays Bovver is quite good.

Whaaat the fuck

Did she mean anything?
