Burton's does have a good fake-out with the couple and their son trying to get a cab in the beginning in the beginning; if you knew Batman's origin you where probably thinking it was leading up to it until Batman shows up
Few people know, but Batman's origin wasn't really shown in media u It was never really touched upon until the 80's. I think a superfriends episode beats Burton to the punch, but Burton was the first to do it in liveaction. So if you didn't read comics before then, you might not have even known Batman's origin. So I don't really blame them for making it such a common thing in modern adaptations.
