This is because it is an unrealistic reality to write a narrative with women being deeper, empowered and more moralistically just than men.

Fuck it, I really liked that whole section. There wasn't some big sob story or something to snap Arya out of what she was doing, she just saw someone living their life and trying to contribute something beautiful and it made her realise that the path she was heading down was meaningless and shitty.

I liked it too tbqh. I'll be disappointed if they cop out now, though I'm still not sure why we should give a shit about Arya. Even in the books her storyline has been so disconnected from everyone else. Not sure what she can contribute to the story as a whole at this point.
