almost all of TFA aside from some really solid action sequences and based Poe were forgettable as shit and completely mediocre, and I'd put those forgettable sections between the good parts of clones and the shit parts.
But overall, I was hoping TFA would reinvigorate the magic of the series without appealing too heavily to the normie crowd, as I was fearing as I saw more and more normiecore commercials pop up on tv and the internet. And that's exactly what it was.

For those of us who are connected, it can be annoying as fuck trying to explain things, but not look just like a attention seeker.
I live in the capital city of my country and the capital city was designed entirely to house public servants and politicans and basically nobody else, almost everyone in my city works directly or indirectly for the Government.
This means, I know a lot of people who work in all sorts of departments at every level and more importantly, I have been able to get access to very powerful and elite groups just through association. Know a few people in high places and suddenly you can be thrust into a very different world.
To give an example, I've been at a strippers club where Politicians, businessmen and high ranking public servants were having a coke and strippers party. How? Someone I know was dealing drugs to his boss who was a head of a department and I tagged along.
I'm also close friends with someone who was very, very high in Defence. So high in fact he has photos of him at a picnic with Donald Rumsfield and the head of the CIA when he was working in some joint military program (that he himself organized) and then he, because he organizes so many of these programs and is so high ranking, has many connections in the US MIC so I've got information about shit that has gone down even in the US.
Did you know the CIA developed a drone that looks just like a bird, yet when they showed it off at a demonstration, it was attacked and destroyed by an eagle? Nope? I've seen video of it.
I don't know why people here don't believe anyone is connected at all. I'm 28, It's not like it should be mindblowing that I know people who work in all these different places at different levels. Especially with then nature of my city.
