How come nobody on here ever mentions this episode when discussing the best Top Gear specials? It literally is the best of the lot. Is it honestly just skipped over here because Americans can't into banter? Was it not shown over there or is there another reason /tv/ blanks it?

I mentioned it once, it was funny as shit

It's either that, Bolivia or the Polar Special
>>
>>70215087

It's pretty great

I prefer the vietnam special myself because of the amazing scenery and the crazy suits

Was the chase fake?
>>
Wasn't it actually the one that kicked off regular specials?
In any case, it was pretty good.
>>
>>70215313
I very much doubt it. Top Gear was never terribly subtle, when it was fake it was usually pretty easy to tell.

It was Bolivia for me for ages, but Patagonia was just a bit better because holy fuck some of that footage is borderline pornographic

I liked it.

Vietnam my man

in terms of comedy most of the ones mentioned here win for me, but my favorite episode was one where they got a BMW and did an endurance race (24 hour I think). Something about it seemed so cool and genuine.
>>
>>70215313
Of course it was.

They also didn't really set a guy on fire with a flamethrower or run into a snowpile that just so happened to have a car parked in it while driving that combine harvester snow plough.
>>
>>70215479
Why do Americans sue eachother all the time?
That's honestly incomprehensible to me.

Lots of Top Gear is fake, and obviously so, but no way was that redneck business cooked up. They were in Alabama, in a self-proclaimed 'hick town', with those slogans painted on their cars. You really don't think 'Muricans would genuinely react like that? A faked chase would have appeared much more flashy and aesthetic, rather than an awkward dash out of the area.

most of us are pretty annoyed by it, but there definitely exists a loud faction of people who swear by using the legal system for everything

my blood is boiling

kek just imagine how fucking kebabbongs would have reacted if a bunch of Americans were driving around with some a slogan on the side of their car about how shitty the Queen or muslims are. Same reaction.
>>
>>70216129

I really doubt anyone would react unless you went really extreme and drew muhammad on a car and drove through luton or something

This may surprise you, but most countries aren't as easily buttblasted as Americans, nor are they so brainwashed about 'muh country'. It's basically only you, the argies and ISIS who react like that

lol whatever you say, snaggle teeth.

Americans sure love getting triggered

He doesn't know that. He's spent his whole life in America, so a country which isn't filled with flag-waving mouthbreathers is a difficult concept for him to wrap his head around. Don't hold it against him.
