This was the best episode this season in my opinion. I liked getting more development from Sam, and it was nice to see his family and his father, also stealing Heartsbane was great.
Is Sam still going to Oldtown though, or did he steal the sword to return north considering what he knows about the White Walkers?
The scenes in Kings Landing were also all excellent, Mace actually came off as a fucking badass in his speech, and the High Sparrows ruse was excellent.
Jaime hasn't been well done this season, I dislike his character development, but I am glad that he is finally leaving the city and going to Riverrun. I just wish he had burned a few bridges with Cersei before he left.
The Benjen reveal was also excellent, as well as the little glimpses we got of the Mad King and Jaime on the throne.
I liked Arya's scenes as well, fuck the haters I like her story and I enjoyed her time in Braavos. Can't wait for her to kill the Waif and go back to really being Arya.
The final scene with Dany wasn't bad either, but it was extremely repetitive of things she has already said multiple times in the past and completely failed to do. That said, I really liked her riding down on Drogon and giving a speech.
