Yes he'll keep gorging on his fancy steaks but that seed of doubt is there, like it always was. And it'll grow and grow, and has he becomes more invested in the notion that something's up and starts ignoring the finer things he thought he wanted until, like Neo and at this point in the story, all who'd successfully exited the matrix. Except the robots did their share and there's nobody left to get him out.
