its about the quantity of the proof. Being exposed to one article every few months does nothing to change your core beliefs. Even then, in many cases comments are closed on those articles, so people cant discuss it. If you try to talk about it on sites like Reddit, you get banned for anti-semitism.
The media controls the narrative through this selective censoring and limitation of speech. It's impossible to completely block the info from getting out, but it's not impossible to make it extremely hard to talk about. By limiting the discussion, or preventing it entirely, they prevent the snowball effect of public discourse, and the consequences it would have.
