The action star is a dying breed, Vin, The Rock and Statham are the last good ones, Paul Walker was ok. Nowadays they want a psuedo-method actor to play action heros and prepare for the roles by going on crazy workout routines and "boot camps". Adrien Broody was the protagonist in predators which was a horrible fit, that would of been perfect for The Rock.
