I loved it. Not as good as Days of Future Past, but it's up there with First Class and is a good movie.

To be fair, on this one, it looks like he's still wanted after the events of DOFP. After he uses his powers to save the guy at the factory, the police come to take him in. The "why gawd" shit is stupid, though.

Now this, I can't explain at all. Especially after he collapses Cairo to build his pyramid, almost certainly killing any family she has (whoever she was living with in the beginning of the movie). And she only switches sides for muh hero Fatniss Everblue and because Apocalyps disregarded Archangel after he died, even though that was completely out of character for Mr. "You Are All My Children".
Apocalypse is better villain then entire MCU forgottable catalog.

Apocalypse never wanted to end the world, he just wanted to destroy the current one and rebuild on it with survivors from the initial attack. Naturally only mutants would survive the attacks which would lead to a world with nothing but mutant (literally Magneto's dream world).
I don't know if you've ever been to egypt but if you are an orphan hobo you are literally treated like a stray dog. I don't think Storm would care for any of the people in Cairo, except for maybe her orphan friends, but then again she doesn't really seem to care about them either.

Magneto's family dieing was just plotploy and terrible writing, but it gave us amazing Fassbender performance.
I still don't get why people hate it so much, it was mediocre but not terrible. I'd give a 6/10 at least.
