I felt nothing towards him until I saw him at the brothel interacting with the madam and their whole relationship. This was the thing that sold me the character.

Also he was trying to meadiate between Tone and 20 Fucking Years after Tone KTFOed Coco's jaw and teeth, and also in the very finale - he was right there at that chilling warehouse meeting.

I think he was just an idiot, but smart enough to realize he wasn't 100% gangster.
