It's possible the appeal will fail, but any buyers will probably only want/use certain sections of the company. So if bought out, expect things like Kotaku or Gizmodo, for example, to still be around in some way. Could be in a way that it's still acting as they are now, or it could be gutted out just so a company can use its name/site to funnel clicks elsewhere (which is fairly possible given how Gawker sites are increasingly being looked down upon).
