CW is much better. The action scenes in Apocalypse are mostly shit, since the mutants are garbage with no interesting powers. The final fight is basically just a bunch of fist fights going on all over the place. CW actually has some good fights, notably the one at the end which is probably one of the best in capeshit history.
JLaw is in it but she's not a huge factor. She's blue like 30% of the time.

This was a little bit over the top, I mean I agree that he sort of redeemed himself by saving the world, but it would have been a much easier sell if they'd included a throw-away line of dialogue to indicate that, or if someone had said something to indicate that they didn't forgive him.

In the past, of future past the only humans he tried to kill were the ones he considered to be responsible for creating the sentinels and approving their use, and he encouraged other mutants to rebel.
In both films his priority was keeping mutants safe, albeit in a stupid and warlike way, and human casualties were just a side effect, he didn't want to cause genocide.
