Spinoff means it exists in the same world. So who knows, maybe we'll get some close tie ins to previous cast members.
I think it would be great if they were able to expand the 24 "Universe". Keifer made 24 great with his portrayal of Bauer. I don't see this new guy being a new Jack. But let's hope the story is interesting.
