S3 of Community had funny bits, because the cast was genuinely incredibly talented.
But yes the writing definitely dropped off.
OP: S3 of AD is the "fuck it" style of writing. Watching it in retrospect, they didn't give in to popularity, nor marketing, but they had a budget! That gave them freedom to not give a fuck. S3 of AD is pure anarchy. But all writers must be contained.
