I'm actually kind of sad, I was hoping that there would finally be a good videogame movie.
I really thought that Duncan Jones would be able to pull it off, because he directed Moon, my #2 favorite movie of all time.

There are certain scenes in LOTR that definitely look dated. Whenever they couldn't use forced perspective for the hobbits it's a fucking disaster. The miniatures in the attack on Isengard are absolute shit. But most of it looks decent.
