Are you serious? There are a few very good movies made during the communist era but you have to be really autistic to enjoy and understand them. In the 90s you had a few TV shows which are very good but that's pretty much it. Bulgarian cinema is 1% really fucking good and 99% total shit. And the worst part of it is the last 15-20 years of failed Hollywood copying, ridiculously bad acting, scripts so pretentious it actually hurts, and the "HURR DURR MUH EASTERN EUROPEAN MAFIA" shit that got old since the first shitty movie. FUCK Bulgarian cinema.
