Yes, the reason sub-saharan Africa no longer has smallpox is because their hygiene is now so much better that what once was a disease that occurred even in the first world was eliminated "coincidentally" as the worldwide vaccination campaign happened. Funny that.

Big sciency sounding words might scare you but not educated people.
Most of those are already in our bodies and the rest are in such tiny quantities they're harmless.
The mercury in vaccines is ethyl mercury, which passes through the human body without being absorbed. Methyl mercury is the bad kind and the differences between the two is the difference between vodka and gasoline. Even if it was the bad kind of mercury its less than you'd get from a can of tuna.
But go ahead, I'm sure getting polio is more preferrable than an injection.

The Lyme Vaccine called "LymeRIX" was pulled from the market after being administered to the first set of patients in 1998 because the vaccine created an immunological syndrome that was similar the neuroborreliosis.
The vaccine carried OspA, OspC, the outer surface protein of the Lyme bacterium that causes autoimmunity and molecular mimicry in those diagnosed with the disease.

>from the only source I could find that claims smallpox existing in Africa today

Parents only vaccinate because they believe that there is a need to prevent children from getting measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough, forgetting the old-age wisdom of knowing that these are the natural diseases that prime and mature the immune system of children, and not vaccines. If anything, vaccines de-immunize. Properly managed (meaning not mismanaged by the administration of antipyretics and antibiotics), having measles not only results in a life-long specific immunity to measles, but also in a life-long non-specific protection against degenerative diseases of bone and cartilage, immunoreactive diseases (such as allergies, asthma), sebaceous skin diseases and cancers.

Why the fuck would you inject an infant with a vaccine knowing it's possibly tainted with any number of heavy metals or neurotoxins, such as what this guy posted..>>69977963

Legitimate fear of reported instances of heavy metals and neurotoxins in vaccines.
If you want to argue the point without sounding like you are using the simple "discreditor" tactics of ad hom and appeal to authority, you should find another anon. If the companies manufacturing the vaccines have admitted they've released tainted vaccines, the parents have every right to look out for the health of their children.

>>
>>69984093
>long debunked studies
Sorry that's a subjective statement without evidence.
The bigger question is how we let an important medical discovery like vaccines get tainted with metals and neurotoxins.
The problem isn't vaccines, it's oversight and quality control. Get that out of the vaccines and people will probably be more trustworthy.

You think somebodies gonna lay off the cheeseburgers and choose a new lifestyle or have a doctor put them on more meds? Big Pharma could stop making vaccines and their profit margins would be barely effected.

If a 100 dollar injection lowers the risk of hospitalization (incredibly expensive events for insurance and providers) and illness it is almost assuredly worth it from a cost perspective.

I acknowledge they make money. Thats what corporations are designed to do. But the idea that Big pharma is suppressing evidence for mass amounts of profit is highly suspect if 3% of their profits are from vaccines. I'm not even saying they don't do shady shit. There are lawsuits against these companies where they get sued by people and fined by the government when they get caught doing shit shady. Actively suppressing information on adverse effects rates or efficacy would be difficult once the public started to use them.

They make a little money off of vaccines. Vaccines work like they are supposed to and have relatively minor side effect profiles compared to most other real medical treatments (real treatments not hippy herbal crap).

you're willing to believe ludicrously stupid bullshit without a shred of evidence, but you're too fucking stupid and lazy to review evidence, so I guess that really does make sense.

go read about the flu vaccine; it changes it's protein coat extremely frequently due to being lucky ( it has more chances to change its protein whereas others don't have as many point mutation sites that won't prevent them from reproducing via blocking the encapsulation phase ) and so vaccines are 90% of the time the best guess at which of the newest strains will end up being the most virulent in practice

Let me break this down for you because it's something I do know.

1) protein coat is a tessellated monomer ( MC Escher style where one block added many times makes up a larger shape )
2) many strains are available/found in humans ( wild )
3) pick () strain, maybe a few, to make vaccine for ( # strains increase--> more negative affects for the vaccine and weaker its immune response ), which is why you can't pick all strains
...4) Maybe new strain is the most virulent ( spreads the most/quickest )

Wow that's brilliant man, why go to the doctor then ever?

that headline ended up in my feed as well! its so relevant to the data! being vegan has a tiny eco-footprint by comparison, lower incidences of cancer, better insulin control, and lower lifespans... Crying doesn't help, but pubmed could! I'm not vegan and I love meat, but I've had success in reducing my IBS symptoms trying it probably due to the fibre and lower oxidative load (AGEs and pro inflammatory recruitment via cooked meat).

it is really sad that the most frequented board is pol most of the time these days. Fucking retards

Awesome, too bad the correlation is so weak. It's almost like any group that watches what they eat will be healthier than the average citizen, and that's why almost every diet works initially.

No drug is ever completely safe or completely perfect.

HOWEVER, the odds of a vaccine doing anything harmful are astronomically small. And when you compare the infinitesimally tiny chance of something going wrong to the massive health benefits both to the person getting the vaccine and to larger society, the benefits outweigh the possible disadvantages millions of times over.

This being said, autism is an absolute bitch of a thing and parents first start noticing the condition around the time the vaccine schedule kicks in. The two are not even vaguely related events but parents love their kids and want an explanation as to why this has happened out of nowhere. Cue predictable, understandable emotional response.

Unfortunately that response is very harmful. If I could have one wish granted I'd wish for an autism vaccine just to watch their minds implode from trying to deal with it. That it would make every other vaccine more appealing since the scariest supposed consequence would be off the table is just icing on the cake.

>Honestly the best thing that could happen for America would be if Europe would stop pricefixing so we don't have to bear all the burden of medical R&D.

The prices are fixed because Europe realises unchecked capitalism in that industry is bullshit. Pharmacy companies literally hold your quality of life, at minimum, and in a lot of conditions your life full stop to ransom, which pretty much lets them charge whatever the fuck they want.

Also prices aren't actually fixed, what happens is that patients pay a certain amount themselves for the drug and then the government covers the rest.

I have Crohn's Disease and the price per day to keep me in any semblance of a life I want to live runs to over $100 per day. Of that I personally only pay $2 or so which means I can do shit like have a roof over my head and buy food. Without the PBS paying the rest I'd either be homeless, dead, or have been eviscerated a long time ago.
