True Detective Season 3 when?
Also who should cast be?
Rust and Marty 2.0
Honestly, they should drop the whole thing. Season 1 was 10/10 masterpiece, but Season 2 was a 2/10 dogshit. Pizzolatto is a one-trick pony and should stick to writing plays and shit. RIP True Detective, Fargo is real deal.
won't be made, pizza has been discouraged and is all out of ideas

this is how you detect a pleb
Thank you season 2 for the pleb filter
Chuckle Brothers
directed by Ted Kotcheff

Why do you presume I liked or cared about some piece of shit GOT gimmick? Fag.
>tfw hbo are keeping our guy pizza on a tight-ass leash
>tfw they're leaving the bulk of the writing to some fucking hyperactive max landis types

im comparing the people who like trash to the people that like the kino that is TD season 2

Poo Detective: The India Chapters

is season 2 really that bad or is it just the letdown of no mcconaughey?
>>69954242
Brendan Fraser and Nicholas Cage.
>>69954242
>season 1 - child rapist cult
>season 2 - corrupt elites and sex clubs
what else can they do?
>>69956175
secret war crimes, secret underwater weapon experiments off the coast, secret stuff you know?
>>69956035
not him but no you're wrong senpai. mabye if season 2 existed on it's own it would be ok but compared to season1 GOAT it just bloody sucked. there was no balance in the characters just a whole cast of cynical pessimists. mcadams is my waifu and i hated that unbearable shite.

Season 2 is good but not as good as season 1 and I though Colin Farell was almost as good as Mcconaughey.
>>69956175
aliens
>>69954242
hopefully in like 2 years so they take their fucking time with the writing instead of the rushed mediocre 2nd season
>>69956114
the directing took the biggest dive
>>69956258
>on it is own
jesus fucking christ what has the world come to
you ought to end your existence
Cast should definitely be God.

it's very (VERY) intricate, if not downright confusing. lots of things to keep track of; names of major players are muttered under breath; stuff that some character just lets slip in episode 2 might be a key point by episode 7 and you scramble to grasp how they came to the conclusion in the first place. the ensemble format also probably turned a lot of GoT plebs off because it's not boomy and obvious in rolling out the plot, and not 100% fixated with The Murder Mystery at hand
also, where season 1 had some semblance of humor and/or light-heartedness in the form of marty, everyone in season 2 are like interchangeable po-faced alcoholic burnouts dropping tagline-worthy quotes whenever they get the chance; caricatures of rust, if you will
worth a watch. it is after all the season that gave us vinceposting, and while the first season was exciting and had atmosphere, this was truly weird tv and you don't see that very often. a brilliant mistake

Even without considering the highly flawed plot at all, season 2 sucks ass. The acting is horrendously over the top. The great part about season 1 was you knew Marty was still that same cheating guy even when he came into work. You knew rust was that same alcoholic with a fucked up life even while he would be obsessing about the case. With season 2 it was like work and recreation were totally different areas for everyone. Simply bad.
They're giving Pizzolatto time to write the third season.
>take 5 years to write the first season
>hbo makes you write second season in less than a year.
>mfw people are surprised it wasn't as good.
Ally McBeal-style Lisa spin-off
>>69956114
It is that bad, would probably been just as good as season 1 if they had removed the homo and the woman from the main cast.
>>69956261
>Season 2 is good
Errrr, no.
>>69954242
Music is fantastic, mood is excellent, characters are very flawed and broken people (fits well into the noir mood) but the plot is a bit half baked.

>Season 1 was 10/10 masterpiece, but Season 2 was a 2/10 dogshit.
Why does everyone exaggerate such extremes?
Season 1 was 9/10 great
Season 2 was 7/10 good
>>69958347
>exaggerate such extremes
...knocks it down for one.
>>69958465
I like both seasons, they don't belong at the polar extremes.
