In the books, Euron is banished because he fucks Victarion Greyjoy's wife and gets her pregnant, then Victarion has to honor-kill her because of the public shame getting cucked brought to him. Victarion's character is that he's a big, dumb, angry guy who would absolutely have taken revenge on anyone else if they'd done that. The entire reason that this dumb mound of hate and Fuck You doesn't kill Euron is because of the unforgivable, horrific nature of kinslaying in Westerosi society.
