Made my gf watch that yesterday, hoping to make her see why I spend two hours every other week watching cars go fast.
Think that failed but at least she liked the movie.
Lagaan is sportkino btw
The Goalkeeper's Fear of the Penalty Kick
>>69924590
Why does Zemo race Thor? Does he even have a chance against a god? This movie is so fake.
>>69924691
Hey, that's the guy that fucked Kate Beckinsale!

>The Goalkeeper's Fear of the Penalty Kick
never seen it, what's that?
I used to be a goalie, and penalty kicks were not something I worried about. Mostly because you are not expected to save them, the pressure is on the taker, and because I was damn good at stopping penalty kicks.

This. He's so petty, and tiny.

she liked chris h playing an alpha risk-taker.
she thinks about him when she has to touch you.

I was sort of joking because it's not really a sports film, more of a thriller. But the character is a goalkeeper and the motif of the penalty kick is a metaphor for the tension of the film.

This very well may be the best opening in all of movies and has influences the lives of more inspiring filmmakers and the plot hasn't even begun yet but the narrative did.
Sport Kino, and Retard Kino (much better than Gump)

Rudo y Cursi
Creed.
It's not my favorite Rocky, mostly because I can't stand Michael Jordan, but the boxing scenes are amazingly well done. It also has a serviceable story that set's up an interesting sequel, and it is one of the more accurate depictions of Philly.

You'd think he was jokinghe's not

I love this movie but never understood why there were teams better than theirs
>>69928831
>Why are baseball and boxing movies the best?
Because baseball and boxing are the two sports with the best lore. Also horse racing has good lore.
>>69928965
Love it, hospital scene is the best

>I love this movie but never understood why there were teams better than theirs
That was the joke wasn't it? Same way the sport eventually got corrupted teaams and players adapted, it's why Aussies slap England's shit at cricket all the time now.
>>69925508
Fuck Yes
>>69927794
Good choice. They almost never show them playing football, but in the few moments that they do, it's more accurate than any other footy movie I've seen (including all the others mentioned in this thread).
