They're a hyper disciplined, and drilled army. The level of discipline is the important factor though, it's what wins battles., and they make westerosi levy armies look like a joke in that regard. Take that as the bulk of your army (and 10k isn't a small force, the boltons only have 5) coupled with some widl dothraki screaming and riding like mad and you'll see morale plumit hard.
