Reminds me of Spanish flu. The reason it was so deadly and spread so damn far is that for whatever reason it had an inverse effect of who got it the worst. Normally children and the elderly get fucked by the flu because of their still developing/weakened immune system. This strain had the opposite effect, those with the strongest immune systems were destroyed because their bodies tried to fight it too much.
