yes. As far as space-opera/politics type stuff goes it's pretty great. The characters are consistent and have longass arcs across the whole show, presentation is generally solid with pleasing visuals and nice use of music and the way that the story unfolds episode to episode is very dramatic and engrossing.
Not perfect though, lots of the supporting cast members are cardboard cutouts for the main cast to bounce off of, some of the sub-plots can feel poorly handled, even some with large influences on the greater story, the violence may or may not feel excessive at times, battle tactics reach 'Sharpe' levels of plot-armour and some parts of the show, such as the battles and maybe a couple of other things, can start to feel a bit formulaic after a while.
Best thing I can say about the show is that it generally always feels like it's moving forwards and doesn't waver wildly in quality like so many other long-running shows. It actually runs pretty consistently and ties it all together without dropping the ball so you shouldn't leave feeling disappointed.
