The first one is pretty decent, has Lance Heinriksen in it, not exactly jumping out of your seat scary but does have a cool creepy atmosphere. The second one is dogs hit, don't even watch it to make fun of it. What are your thoughts on the recent (last 5 years) spate of meta-slashers? Some are great, some less so, but there seems to be a tonne of people using the basic template for quirky, funny stories-

Probably the best scene of any horror movie. With the way this stands up today I can only imagine what it must have been like seeing it back when it first came out.
