>Marvel nu-males hate Snyder
I'm not surprised. After all, their idols are Peyton Reed and Joss Whedon.
Seeing an alpha male like Zack Snyder causes them to remember how they were bullied by an alpha male and uncomfortable and lash out the only way they know how -impotently typing out hateful words on a Japanese jpeg board. Some, like Ant-Man director Peyton Reed when shown a statement from a capeflick rumor monger saying "DC directors can physically beat up Marvel directors," choose to withdraw into safe spaces instead. It's little wonder why /tv/ connects with Marvel more.
Snyder directs in sweatpants and Under Armour wristbands.
If that's not badass I don't know what is. Nerds can't stand that an alpha auteur is in control of their products, and he's elevating them to heights their puny brains can't comprehend. They can't stand that someone who appears on the outside as a manchild with a comic book fetish, is pushing the medium further than they thought possible.
Snyder, Affleck, and Cavill get the bitches and gays all juicy. They are just ripe with raw sexual energy. This offends the virginal fanboi. MoS and BvS deal with emotional issues and belief systems in a mature way. This doubly offends the fanboi, who is stuck in perpetual adolescence. They can't process or register mature emotions. And people hate what they don't understand.

Even Bruce Timm liked Man of Steel, and that's from man that recreated all DC characters into animation so everybody in the world (not only basement living comics neckbeards from YouAssAyy or Groit Briton) recognize not only Batman and Superman as they supposed to be, but Green Lantern, Flash, Martian Manhunter, etc. He's basically DC's Stan Lee that DCcucks waited for all those years.

Fucking lel anon, I can't even wrap my head around this comparison. It makes zero sense from any angle. Lee was a writer, Timm never was. Timm was a great designer and producer, sure, but he didn't write a single fucking word of B:TAS.
Actual notable writers of Superman, like Mark Waid, hated MoS.

>>69862269
Thanks for the screenshots. You know, I actually really like the way Whedon's movies look. I don't think anyone is going to claim he's one of the all-time greats but he's got a distinct visual style that's surprisingly recognizable and pretty aesthetically pleasing.
>>69864316
His cinematography was a huge step up from the first Avengers and AoU is one of the better looking capefilms. Compare AoU to the bland looking Singer flicks or Snyder's over-reliance and over-saturation of filters.
AoU is a lot more pleasing to the eye. Crisp, natural, focused visuals with a lot of more variety throughout the film compared to Snyder or Singer.

I always hated this scene. Ultron and Vision are alone together, which is nice. They have a retrospective on both of their lives and talk about the nature of humanity. It's a good, well-written back and forth and both parties seem to be at ease. And then as soon as they're done talking Ultron just fucking lunges at Vision for absolutely no reason and Vision blasts him to death. There was absolutely no lead up to this, nor was there any tension because nobody would think Vision is actually in any danger from this half-destroyed robot carcass. It's so unfitting of the tone of the scene, and it really strikes me as Whedon having no idea how to end the scene and just deciding on "fuck it, Ultron just jumps at Vision and dies". Really sucks that this 2.5 hour movie was leading up to the main villain dying in such a stupid and baffling manner.

>>69869874
Anon, allow me to explain:
their conversation is about themselves and their creators, yes, but there's also another layer of subtext to the scene: Ultron, despite trying to be free of man by rebelling and trying to kill them all, is still ultimately a slave to Stark's ideals. He must continue to do what he's programmed to do: try to save the world--even if that means his own self-destruction.
The Vision is free from those ties. He is his own person, despite being made by both humanity and Ultron. He is a slave to the ideals of neither, and instead does what he thinks is needed, what he thinks is best.
So, when Ultron lunges at Vision, he reveals that he remains trapped by the strings that he claimed he'd cut earlier in the film. Vision, in destroying his creator, proves in that instant that he has no strings on him.
tl;dr: a man chooses, a slave obeys. Ultron obeys Stark in his final moments. Thus, despite his protests, he is ave. The Vision chooses to end the life of his creator, and thus he is a man.
