Robocop is niche, Terminator has been ruined for years, Alien and Predator were never childhood defining, Transformers and TMNT are the most similar, but they were cartoons and expected to be adapted into weird shit to fit mass audiences.
Ghostbusters was beloved by mass audiences including adults and high schoolers, was genuinely funny, had Bill fucking Murray and defined childhoods. It's hard to think of anything else like that.

Problem with the new Ghostbusters is that it's a remake and not a continuation. It's just another Sony origin story.

Surprisingly enough, it actually had quite a few decent episodes.
The irony/(sadness?) is that the cartoon attempted to pull off a more diverse cast than this movie is doing. Instead of really trying to go for something great and making a unique cast, we still fall back on hokey Hollywood stereotypes, because we can't be TOO different, or people who be able to connect!
