8/10 farce, 100x better ode to the 1970s then American Hustle.

I thought "The Nice Guy" was a better film, even if it aims squarely to be more comedic then American Hustle. Thought it did surprise with one death..
Just got back from it. It was bretty good, my wife's son loved it.

I was honestly underwhelmed by the film. Ryan was great, except in some scenes where the writing went overboard. Really didn't care much for Russel Crowe's character, honestly. The pacing was a bit off as well, they bonded too quickly, and as a result their "bromance" really didn't feel like it was developed well enough to feel genuine.

I liked bits and pieces of American Hustle but I was bored to tears for 60% of the runtime
I laughed quite a bit. The villain was immediately recognizable though.
