Warner Bros should just start over with the DC films. Keep Ben Affleck as Batman and Jeremy Irons as Alfred, but throw everything else out of the window. Stop trying to make Superman kino happen, it will not happen because it doesn't work - he's a fucking all mighty, indestructible Jesus alien from another planet. And on top of that, the character is a pussy with zero edge to him.
Focus completely on building a great cinematic Batman universe with small appearances from other DC heroes. Maybe introduce villains that are less known to normies - Killer Croc, Black Mask, Mad Hatter, Zsasz, Deadshot... Recast Leto and Robbie, say that they were just impostors or something.
What will happen instead: Suicide Squad will not flop, but it will have disappointing BO. Wonder Woman, too. Both parts of Justice League will bomb so fucking bad that Zack Snyder's wife finally divorces him. WB will panic and they'll start over with new cast and director in 5-10 years.

So, without factoring in your own feelings of Batman v Superman, why is Snyder still in charge? I'm not talking about weather the movie is a "misunderstood masterpiece" or not, I'm talking about why WB hasn't kicked him the curb yet due to investors.
If you were a WB investor, and you saw their last 2 solo Batman films made over 1 billion, but their movie with Superman made 660 million, and their movie with Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman in it made 868 million. Which is a lot, but not as much as the last 2 movies that only had Batman in them, and this has 3 of the most iconic superheroes in pop culture. Plus the fact that it actually made less overall profit for the studio than the solo Superman film, wouldn't you want this guy gone? It's when greedy companies push their agendas and corporate minds into films that the creative team has to improvise, make changes at the last fucking minute to please execs while trying to stay trie to their original idea.
Even then BvS did a far better job at creating a fight between Batman and Superman as well as the birth of the justice league than Marvel did with making a "Civil War" film; whose focus is Bucky, again, and with a conflict that is more in line with Maury than an actual Civil War.
They should keep doing the same thing they did with MoS and BvS. They are doing something different and much more interesting than Marvel. Why care about scores or media at this point, where shit like the new Star Wars is critically acclaimed and the new Ghostbusters is defended and justified?
