The finales are often staged but the regular stuff isn't. If it were staged, things would go more perfectly. Now, it is edited, obviously. Talk to a ton of people, film for hours on end, pick 3 minutes of mildly funny or entertaining shit. Not that hard, no reason to disbelieve.

This is one of the shows I expected to hate but managed to turn me around on it. Surprisingly watchable even though it's hit and miss, it's never straight unbearable.
