What are some good movies ruined because the villain was completely awful and his plan was largely idiotic and based solely on coincidences? Bonus points if the movie would have been mostly the same without the villain even being in it

coincidences in civil war? he knew about bucky killing tonys parents from the leaked hydra docs, needed the video+proof, bombed the embassy to frame bucky to flush him out of hiding after his first lead was a dead end, dug up info on the other winter soldiers to get cap and bucky searching, called in the dead body in his bathtub to get iron man to tail them, where are the coincidences?
He doesn't need the mask because he didn't crash at the Nürburgring yet.

Someone telling Iron Man where the base is
Bucky killing his parents (evidently he's the only person in hydra)
Banking on Capt America simply not just telling iron man
Iron Man's reaction
The two sides forming to fight each other at all

>Bucky killing his parents (evidently he's the only person in hydra)
Hydra has been destroyed, you can see this in age of ultron and even more in agents of shield
>Iron Man's reaction
he's always been an emotional wreck, it wouldn't be a hard to predict
>The two sides forming to fight each other at all
that was the entire point of his plan, everything he did was in order to tear them apart (which does happen at the end)
>Someone telling Iron Man where the base is
a bit is a stretch yes, but he could have simply sent him an email
