Fallout 3 was fresh when it came out.
New Vegas was a clone with more dialog. I was already burned out on F3 and had zero interest in something that looked the exact same, worked on the exact same mechanics and re-heated the same world again. Post apocalyptic worlds and aesthetics were also way overused at this point. It's probably my loss but I really couldn't be bothered.

They'd go on to say "Well, a real critic like Kevin Smith reviewed Batman vs Superman and even saw it twice even though he didn't like it."
