Why does Fincher get a Xenomorph when he made the worst Alien?

Reds have always been pretty me camera. They are no where near as user friendly as Arri Alexa's or Amira's
Why would he call it a Xenomorph when he hates Alien 3 with every fiber of his being? Has he finally come around? Will we finally get a real "director's cut" of Alien 3?

Bingo. Alexa's do look great too, camera crew moves so fast with them. The main game is just weight and focus pullers- but they can do some amazing things.

Meh, I still prefer to use a Red if I can get my hands on one. Those cameras will pick up any lighting, I swear.

They are more user friendly.
Up until recently the quality just wasn't as good.
Used to be drenched horrible green/yellow/red color saturation.
But the Red EPIC legit produces really great image quality. It's a little plastic-y, like that motion-flow effect, but it still looks comparable to the Arri's, and it even has better color pop. Or did compared to the old Arri's.
Plus they allow for a lot of customization and shit.
I think the F65 looks the best - It's image isn't really even identifiable by looking at it.
Apparently they're really hard to use comparatively speaking though.

I know someone that works for SPE. Sony won't even use their own cameras on their productions because it's such a pain to use.
