Outside the random lesbian shit, I don't get the complaint that this is sjw shit, sure some of the teen drama gets really fucking stupid at times, but there's not really anything insanely sjw. I mean in season 1 they're pretty clear that if not for a totally implausible scenario everyone would die if they didn't follow Kane, they even go out of their way to state that more people need to die because the culling was delayed. In season 2 the president is made a very sympathetic character, and when there's no other choice, he decides to help his son kill the children. In season 3, Pike is portrayed fairly grey, although that's blackened by every protagonist siding against him.However, in the finale, they even flat out have Pike state that the army would've attacked the second Lexa died, this is somewhat immersion breaking as the whole situation with Ontari and Lexa would've never been explained to him, so the writers went out of their way to defend his actions.

That's not a plot hole. The grounders aren't perpetually at war with Mount Weather, they're terrified of it to the point that it's incorporated into their way of life. They only go to war in the interest of getting all their people back with a concrete plan and still go for the less dangerous secret option. Going after someone who killed a bunch of civilians and isn't protected by impenetrable lethal defenses is a lot easier.
I really like the kind of things the show portrays. Sure it has the obligatory fan service and teen drama because it's The CW and they have to meet their quota. But I really like the moral conflicts they throw at the cast. And the different philosophical and Mythology concepts they throw around. Keeps me invested. Didn't care for the episode where they find Luna. That felt frustratingly unrewarding but season 3 overall was hype as fuck.

It felt like season finale was like 15 min short. The ending was abrupt and somehow didnt feel like the rest of the season, it felt like they chose the lighter of the two versions of the finale. Because this wasnt remotely as dark as everybody from the cast kept hyping up.
